広島大学ライティングセンターは2023年度後期に大学院生向けのライティング・グループ「2023 Fall
Graduate Writing Group」を開催します。奮ってご参加ください。

概要
このライティング・グループは、週１回１時間、全８回で「ジャーナル論文の書き方」について講義
やディスカッションを行います。大学院生が英語学術論文の各パーツ（先行研究、実験方法、結果な
ど）を書くための、実用スキルを身に着けることを目指します。また、英語によるピア・フィード
バック（peer feedback）と簡単な査読の書き方も紹介します。
毎回参加する学生同士が討論やレビューを行うことが講義の一部です。ライティング・グループに参
加する場合は、できるだけすべての講義への参加をお願いします。
英語ジャーナルへの投稿を目指す大学院生の皆さん、ぜひご参加ください！

スケジュール

時間帯：
•10月10日～12月12日の毎週火曜日 11時〜12時（10月31日、11月28日は除く）
•10月11日～12月13日の毎週水曜日 11時～12時（11月1日、11月29日は除く）
※　どちらか一つの時間帯にご参加ください

The Hiroshima University Writing Center is pleased to announce the 2023 Fall Graduate Writing Group!

Overview
The Graduate Writing Group provides a series of intensive lectures on academic journal paper writing. We will
meet each week for one hour to discuss a specific aspect of academic writing, for a total of eight meetings over
the semester. You will learn about practical skills for each part of a research paper (e.g., literature review,
methods, results), and also gain experience in giving peer feedback and writing short peer reviews.
As discussions and peer reviews among regular attendees are part of the lecture, we would prefer if you could
attend all eight meetings throughout the semester.
We look forward to seeing you in the Writing Group!

Schedule
Meeting time slots:
•Tuesdays: 11:00 ~ 12:00 (from 10/10 to 12/12; skipping 10/31 and 11/28)
•Wednesdays: 11:00 ~ 12:00 (from 10/11 to 12/13; skipping 11/1 and 11/29) ※ You only need to attend one of
the time slots.
