The Hiroshima University Writing Center is pleased to announce the 2024 Fall Graduate Writing Group!

[Overview]

The Graduate Writing Group provides a series of intensive lectures on academic journal paper writing. We will meet each week for 90 minutes for a total of eight meetings over the third/fourth terms. Each session will cover different aspects of academic writing, with time for discussion and focused writing. You will learn about practical skills for each part of a research paper (e.g., literature review, methods, results), and also gain experience in giving peer feedback and writing short peer reviews.

Meeting time slots:
• Tuesdays: 10:30 ~ 12:00 (from Oct 15 to Dec 17; skipping Nov 5 and Nov 26)
• Thursdays: 10:30 ~ 12:00 (from Oct 17 to Dec 19; skipping Nov 7 and Nov 28)
*You only need to attend one of the time slots.

Place: Higashi-Hiroshima Campus Central Library, Reading Room 207 or online (Microsoft Teams)
